CADS is a vibrant, not-for-profit society for both juniors and adults, bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to create musical and theatrical performances for our village.
We’re best known for our annual pantomimes, each year bigger, brighter, and more magical than the last. Our Cast & Crew includes over 40 passionate members, from performers and front-of-house volunteers to the behind-the-scenes crew creating the magic with lights, sound, stage management, set-building, and costumes. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, completely new to the stage, or looking to get involved backstage, we’re always open to welcoming new members and there’s a place for you at CADS.

Our 2026 Pantomime is.... Snow White!
✨ Oh yes it is – panto season is back! ✨
This year’s pantomime is a true classic with a sparkling new twist. Snow White returns to our stage in a brand-new retelling, lovingly written by our very own team led by our Chairman, Richard Fairlie. The magic doesn’t stop there; this production also marks an exciting milestone, as our very own Alana Wharton steps away from centre stage, where audiences will have seen her shine in multiple principal roles, to take the director’s chair for the very first time in her debut production.
Expect rip-roaring laughter, larger-than-life characters, and plenty of surprises as this much-loved fairy tale gets the full panto treatment. With dazzling fun for all ages, plenty of singalongs, and all the twists and turns our cast can get themselves in to, this is a feel-good theatrical treat you won’t want to miss!
So warm up your boos, practise your cheers, and get ready for a magical night, or three, of pantomime fun! 🍎👑
